With over 25 years of dedicated teaching experience with the Edmonton Catholic School Division, Kyoko (Leanne) Aura is a seasoned educator whose impact extends beyond the classroom. She was privileged to provide instructional leadership in her role as a Mathematics consultant and as an Assistant Principal, Kyoko exemplifies her commitment to academic excellence and student success.
She aims to bring her passion for mathematics education into schools and into the hearts of teachers and students. She is particularly excited about making connections between Mathematics and Art, the integration of Indigenous ways of knowing into curriculum, and fostering connections beyond the classroom that inspire creativity and critical thinking. She is committed to enriching the educational experience for both teachers and students alike.
