Is there really mathematics in finger painting? Yes, of course there is! From finger discrimination and counting to systems thinking about mixing colors this art activity includes mathematics at every stage. Challenge yourself to use the same finger every time you add yellow to your picture, keep track of the number of colors you are adding, start with any three colors and create as many colors as possible, create a numeric system to represent the colors you make.
