We Believe All Students Can Learn and Love Math
Youcubed is a research center at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education, co-founded in 2013 by Professor Jo Boaler and Cathy Williams. We conduct research, design curriculum, and develop professional learning offerings centered around creative mindset mathematics. Our work transforms insights from research in neuroscience and mathematics education into practical classroom resources that help students experience math as accessible, visual, and beautiful.
The youcubed team collaborates with schools and districts across the country to bring inspired math learning to classrooms, including playing a key role in shaping mathematics education policy decisions across the US and the world. Beyond our work with educators and policymakers, youcubed supports Stanford graduate students through research opportunities that prepare the next generation of educational leaders and math education scholars.
