Stanford Online’s “How To Learn Math for Teachers and Parents” teaches the pedagogical strategy called ‘number talks’ with some interesting different methods shared by Stanford students.

Last summer 40,000 teachers/parents signed up for the course. I was really pleased with the result as 92% rated the course as very or extremely good at the end and 95% of people said they would change their teaching or ways of helping their children as a result. The course is open now and will open again in August for the school year. It costs $125. Many school districts are willing to pay for their teachers. I hope that the 2 short videos are helpful to you.
