DESCRIPTION:Join Jo Boaler and the youcubed team to learn how to teach the youcubed summer camp curriculum! Each session is appropriate for K-12 teachers\, coaches and administrators. In this workshop\, we focus on exploring the content and pedagogy that promotes a growth mindset. This approach was shown in our camp to improve student scores on standardized mathematics tests by an average of 50% (equivalent to 2.8 years of school). Participants will receive a copy of the camp curriculum.

DESCRIPTION:In this virtual workshop led by Jo Boaler\, we will learn research-based methods that are known to work well for teaching students in heterogenous (mixed ability) groups. The session will include a consideration of the different options available to schools and teachers\, and the ways they work in classrooms. The workshop is geared towards teaching students in grades 5 to 10\, but the methods can be used in any grade level.
